Profile:
L3 Sun Solaris and L3/L2 RHEL Skills Required:
Expertise installing, configuring, and supporting the Solaris 10 and 11.
Expertise knowledge of Sun SPARC and T series class hardware Expertise configuration and administration of Solaris LDOM Experienced installing, configuring, and support RHEL5/6 Experienced on VMware platform and managing Linux VM through vSphere.
Configuration and administration of Sun and Veritas Volume Manager.
Experienced on configuration and administration of Solaris zones.
Solaris Patch and Package administration on Solaris 10 and 11.
Knowledge on shell / Perl scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task Installing and maintaining Solaris Wanboot / Jumpstart environment NFS and automounter skills required Understanding on DNS / Sendmail environment.
Experienced on SAN/NAS storage and multipathing tools like MPxIO and powerpath.
Installation and configuration of HA environment using Veritas Cluster.
Excellent knowledge of ITIL process for incident / change management.
Strong communication skills are imperative, including assertiveness and taking ownership of issues and requests Should be willing to provide 24 X 7 shift support and weekend oncall (Based on schedule).
Should be responsible for interfacing between client, onshore and offshore teams.
